AA spec and you.
I am currently speced in the following fashion
Kos tree
--------
Str 4,4,8,6,2
AGi 4,4,8,7,2
EoF
-------
buff
combat
I accidently choose the one more into melee crit line back when it was 10p to change it, so i went with it. I like this set up as it works well with the combat spec i have in EoF. Also every spell i changed to a CA through the combat AA's crits as well which is nice especially when soloing.
How about you guys and gals?

Re: AA spec and you.
Run more or less the exact same setup though I maxed aura of warding instead of aura of haste in str tree and maxed heal crit with 7 in melee crit in agi tree so:
Kos tree
--------
Str 4,4,6,8,2
AGi 4,4,7,8,2
EoF
-------
buff
combat
Setup like this makes the class very versitile imo thus fun to play. Can both heal, debuff and DPS.

is ritual just not worth it to have? cos it works on grp heals doesn't it? Personally i'd do the same str line except give the points into warding over haste, i dont get why you did haste. but with agi, instead go:
agi 4-4-4-8
and give wis
wis 4-1
?
whichever if i miscalculated a point im sry, but i remember having
str down with wards maxxed
agi up to heal crits maxxed
and having ritual with 1 point
and tbh, it seems like the better shaman path to go.

First of all what i really like about the Shaman AA line there is no real bad choice.
Although a raiding shaman not taking the strength line could be considered bad.
I say go Str/agi or Str/wis depending on your role in the raid and your playstyle.
To me Ritual only benefits the group heal and not worth it to loose Tribal rage and/or heal crits over that.
As a mystic i prefer str/agi, if i was a MT group defiler i guess i would have gone str/wis
Ritual also requires you to hold a symbol in your secondary slot.
but since since i am either holding a two handed spear or the godking weapon with a buckler its no use to me.

Re: AA spec and you.
I have messed with ritual before and its nice but by the time i cast it and hit group heal, the group is usally back to a point where the extra 20% is a waste. I can see it being useful if it effected wards but as it only effects heals, i would rather but my DT symbol in my ranged since it would proc a lot and as far as i can remember it does not stack with ritual, but they may have fixed that.

Re: AA spec and you.
I did agi/wis line but I'm goign to switch back to str/agi line since ritual doesnt stack with the Claymore and it's only one min. If you put ancestry on w/ claymore almost every other heal or ward is at 20% is procs like mad. I would say ritual is a waste becuase it doent stack w/ claymore and the extra 15% over claymore a min just isnt worth my points.
I did EOF Melee/Buff lines as well. still desiding on if I want bolster 5 points or not though we usally have 2 to 3 mystics in our raids so it seems to be better in my Avatar since this is also my M2 choice. Meh! I thought I was the only crazy enough Mystic to do the Melee lines.
Note* I usally used ritual w/ topor since it would heal for 300 a tick although at time grp heals are nice if you so choose to use it alot.

Re: AA spec and you.
While on this topic, I read on SOE's forums a couple of people seriously, seriously pissed about the reduction in the Mystic Spirit of the Wolf AA boost. Does anyone really care about this?
I comment because the thread went on for pages with people declaring they hate the Mystic now and will quit. Way over-the-top reaction to an ability I wasn't even planning on putting any points in.
So, again, did this change matter to anyone?

*sigh* the worst part about this game sometimes is listening to the casuals bitch about the stupidest shit. i think this change only effects the non raiders really, and having their cool abilities to make their instances go faster.

Re: AA spec and you.
Actually it did piss me off. Mostly because it was all the bards crying that Mystics got a bigger speed buff than them. To get used to having a 50% run speed buff to then get slowed down to a 40% sucks balls. It was nice just to get from one raid zone to another. Or running a shiny harvesting loop. SOW + J-Boots = 60%
Try driving a Ferrari and then getting moved to a Yugo.
And an extra 10% out of combat run speed worked very nicely for long distance body pulls. But I guess people only do that in groups....
